Company History
Foam Crafts was established in 2011 by Taanya Tranchell with the intent of fostering a toddler’s creativity, critical thinking, early learning and motor skills through affordable foam based products that stimulate the learning potential of the child.
We believe crafting is one of the most interesting hobbies one can enjoy. Developing the love for craft making at a young age is extremely beneficial as children grow (How Crafting Benefits Kids of All Ages). Making crafts help children build their imagination, an area important for a child’s development. Apart from the fun, crafting helps children express themselves creatively and achieve a sense of accomplishment. Moreover, crafting can help children learn educational values, develop great hand-eye coordination and motor control.
Our goal is to produce qualitative and stimulating crafting products for children to enhance their early learning and critical thinking skills. Apart from the importation of raw materials, most end user products are made in Sri Lanka to ensure affordability and value for money.
